Welcome to Booker T. Washington Middle School! We are proud of our dedicated, experienced faculty and staff and enthusiastic learners! As demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more relevant that we all need to work together to insure that each and every child reaches his or her potential. We believe that all of us- the school and the community- must work together as an extended family environment to insure success for all students. We believe it is everyone’s responsibility to empower students with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to be academically, socially, and emotionally successful and responsible citizens as they prepare for college and career.

With that in mind, you are invited to be an active participant at Booker T. Washington Middle School. Whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of the PTA, special event participant, or member of one of our school’s committees, you are encouraged to be involved! Research about schools clearly indicates that a student, whose parents actively participate at their child’s school, has a greater likelihood of academic achievement.

It is our desire to keep you informed of all that is taking place at school. Up-to-date and additional information will be sent to you through the weekly, biweekly, and monthly “Wednesday Folder” and will appear on our school website. If you would like to receive information via email, text, or Facebook, please provide the school with the needed information. If you ever have questions, comments, or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to give your child’s teachers or an administrator a call.
