The mission of Booker T. Washington's library media program is to enable individuals to become information literate and effective lifelong readers. The program will provide educational and technological opportunities to students and staff in keeping with their needs and abilities. The program will enable individuals to access, analyze, assimilate, and use information effectively.

IRON BOWL BOOK RALLY

AEA Be A Champion READ
The kick-off for AEA's Be A Champion-Read contest was held for Washington Middle School's sixth graders with an Iron Bowl Book Rally.  The sixth grade students were encouraged to "Tackle Good Books" with cheers, book summaries, and special messages about reading. The Iron Bowl Book Rally was exciting, motivating, and very engaging!!
